Using Exam Groups

With Exam Groups, the ability to measure and compare Test Candidate results is at your fingertips

Do you want help figuring out where to beef up your curriculum to meet the needs of individual Test Candidates? Or would you like to see how some candidates or classes measure up to others?

The Exam Groups function on the Certiport.com brings the power of performance reporting to your center. With it, you can produce your own customized reports.

The function is called Exam Group because exam results can be grouped together in a manner you choose to provide a report of aggregate and average scores on exams and exam skill sets.

An Example of How It Could Work
A high school technology instructor wants to gauge the basic computer knowledge and skill base of incoming Freshmen. Because she is aware that eighth grade students from Middle School X and Middle School Y have differing computer curriculum and training, she suspects students from each school may have different educational needs to attain an adequate level of digital literacy for high school.

The instructor creates two Exam Groups for her Computer Basics class for Freshmen. When the students of her class take IC3 at the beginning of the semester, she has the students from Middle School X link their exam to one Exam Group number while the students from Middle School Y associate theirs with another. This allows her to identify individual needs based upon prior instruction.
