Verify Candidates' Academic Status
- Students: Must present photo ID and proof that they are registered at an accredited academic institution. Acceptable forms of registration status are student ID card, current transcript, acceptance letter within 2 years for Community College students or 4 years for University students.
- Educators: Must present photo ID and proof that they are employed at an accredited academic institution. Acceptable forms of employment status are school ID card, teaching credential, current paystub, or they may be listed as an instructor on the web or in their schools class schedules.
- Microsoft Certified Trainers: MCTs are eligible to take MTA exams. MCTs should present their MCT ID to verify status.
Note that MTA exams may only be administered to validated students and faculty of accredited academic institutions, and Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs). Once academic status is established, you can provide any additional MTA training or certification opportunities that you offer.
