Certiport Announces Microsoft as Premiere Sponsor for 2017 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. and World Championships
Salt Lake City, UTAH – May 10, 2017
Certiport (www.certiport.com), a Pearson VUE business, the leading test delivery solution provider for the global workforce and academic markets, today announces Microsoft is a premiere sponsor of the 2017 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) U.S. National and World Championships. The MOS U.S. National Championship will be held June 20-22 in Orlando, Florida and the MOS World Championship will be held July 30 – August 2 in Anaheim, California. Each brings together more than 100 student competitors from around the world to prove their expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Certiport expects more than 500,000 total entries in the MOS U.S. National Championship and 900,000 entries from 120 countries in the MOS World Championship. Students age 13 to 22 are eligible to participate in one of six competition tracks by submitting a qualified, passing score on any of the following exams: Microsoft Office Specialist Word® (2016 or 2013), Microsoft Office Specialist Excel® (2016 or 2013), and Microsoft Office Specialist PowerPoint® (2016 or 2013). Winners receive cash and prizes.
