Often, a presentation will look good from a distance of 20 inches from your monitor, but loses its readability when you project it onto a screen for students to read from the back of your classroom. Rather than editing every text box on every slide to change your presentation’s font type, PowerPoint allows you to replace every font in your presentation with just a few clicks.
- From the drop-down menu, choose Format » Replace Fonts. A small window will appear.
- In the Replace field, use the drop-down button to select the font type you wish to be replaced throughout the presentation. If your presentation only contains one font type, it will already be selected for you.
- In the With field, use the drop-down button to select the font type with which you wish to replace the font you selected in the Replace field.
- Click Replace.
- If your presentation contains multiple font types, note that only the font type selected in the Replace field will be replaced. To replace other font types throughout your presentation, repeat steps 2 - 4.
- When you have finished replacing each font type you wish to change, click Close.
