Championship Judges

The 2013 ACA World Championship Final Round competition in Washington, D.C. will be judged by an impressive panel of industry experts representating a broad-range of professional experience and expertise in Adobe Photoshop, graphics design and illustration.

Jocelyn Harmon
Jocelyn Harmon is the vice president for development at The Global Fund for Children. Before joining GFC, Jocelyn served as vice president of sales, marketing, and customer success at Network for Good, which helps organizations to raise money and engage supporters online. Previously, she was director of business development for Care2.com, a web-based social action network that supports the advancement of socially responsible causes. Jocelyn also provided nonprofit marketers with the online data that they needed to power their email marketing and social media programs as director of business development at Triplex Interactive. She has had senior roles in sales, marketing, development, and communications at NPower, the National Council for Nonprofits, and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits.

Jocelyn has a bachelor’s degree in literature from New York University and a master’s degree in sociology from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Pum M. Lefebure
Pum M. Lefebure is a co-founding partner and creative director of Design Army, where she is responsible for overseeing all creative coming through the firm’s doors. An award-winning creative director with a keen attention to detail, Pum has successfully led the creative development of numerous high-profile campaigns both nationally and abroad.

Pum excels in establishing the vision behind high-profile design campaign. Skilled in the creation and implementation of corporate identity, branding, and conceptual design, she has guided the design and development of many award-winning work for clients like, The Washington Ballet, Chronicle Books, The Ritz-Carlton, Marriott International, University of Virginia, Washingtonian’s Bride and Groom and Bloomingdale's.

Pum is on the One Club board of directors, and regularly judges elite design competitions around the world. Her creativity has been featured in industry publications such as Communication Arts, Graphis, HOW, Print, STEP, Novum (Germany), Coupe (Canada), and Art4D (Thailand), as well as, earning a plethora of awards; from the AIGA 365, the One Show, D&AD, SPD Awards, Type Directors Club, and the New York Art Directors Club to name a few.

In 2008, Pum was named by Graphic Design USA as one of the top 50 People to Watch, and nominated as a Rising Star by the Washington Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business. Pum graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.F.A. degree in Graphic Design from Radford University.

Remy Mansfield
As a member of Adobe’s Worldwide Education Programs team, Remy works closely with Certiport to support the community of students and teachers in the Adobe Certified Associate program. His experience in education and technology is rooted by his ongoing involvement with the nonprofit digital storytelling organization he founded, The Modern Story (TMS), which delivers creative media production courses to government school in Hyderabad, India. Remy has worked with organizations such as Children’s Creativity Museum, 826 Valencia, and Adobe Youth Voices.

Prior to Adobe, Remy had developed technology applications, curricula, and facilitated workshops focused on teaching principles of sustainability to affect behavior change. He has been a member of several companies in the sustainability and technology space in the Bay Area, working with Saatchi & Saatchi, GOOD, Inc. and Brighter Planet. Remy earned his B.A. from Middlebury College and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Technology, Innovation & Education from Harvard University.

Camille Nugent
Camille Nugent is a creative shaman. With an education in fine art and a personal style to envy, she leads the Creative department at Certiport, A Pearson VUE Company. Originally from Jamaica, she has a brilliant elegance to bringing creative elements together with a broad global perspective.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in drawing and painting from Brigham Young University. With nearly seven years with Certiport, four as designer and Creative Director at Costume Craze, and three years at the Center for Instructional Design at BYU, Camille has demonstrated a keen sense of customer need balanced with project outcome requirements.

Camille is known for knowing everyone by name, wearing impossibly high heels, making Pollyanna look depressed, a laugh that can be heard around the world and her exceptional strength (don’t mess with this pro body builder).

Matthew Richmond
Executive Creative Director / Founder;
The Chopping Block, Inc.

Matthew is considered a Founding Partner and Executive Creative Director at The Chopping Block, Inc., a full-service graphic design studio founded on the principle that good design spans all mediums. He graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art in 1998, where he additionally studied two years of Architecture. Matthew's professional experience includes several notable design internships within New York, a design internship with Microsoft in Washington state, and a photographic internship with Richard Avedon. His work has won notable recognition from Communication Arts, ID Magazine, HOW Magazine and Flash Forward. In 2003, Matthew and the Block were featured in the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum's Triennial Exhibition. Notable projects include work for Adobe, Scholastic, MoMA, NBC, They Might be Giants, Phish, Time Inc., and Turner Entertainment.

For the past fifteen years, Matthew has presented and instructed on all aspects of digital and analog design, photography and illustration. When not in the studio, Matthew can be found teaching digital illustration, branding, identity and advanced techniques to the graduate students at the School of Visual Arts.
