Certiport Names Team from Costa Rica as First-place Finisher of the IC³ World Cup Competition for Third Consecutive Year

Regional winners also include teams from Libya and Japan

SALT LAKE CITY — July 9, 2009

Certiport today announced the worldwide winner of the 2009 IC³ World Cup is team “Colegio Boston de Negocios” from Costa Rica. The latest victory for the Costa Rican team extends its winning streak to three straight years. Other top finishers include “Albedaya Team” from Libya and “Odyssey Testing Center” from Japan.

The grand prize winner will send its team “coach” on an all-expense-paid trip to Toronto for PATHWAYS 2009. Each regionally based winning team will also receive won 100 IC³ World Cup team jerseys and a $5,000 (USD) gift certificate toward computer hardware.

In its third year as an international competition, IC³ World Cup is a team-oriented competition aimed at developing and validating the current and relevant skills needed for success in the 21st Century.
