Certiport Partners with Element K to Offer E-Learning

Industry leaders in tailored-learning solutions and performance-based certifications join to deliver flexible, dynamic learning for Microsoft Office certifications

SALT LAKE CITY — February 10, 2009

Certiport today announced an agreement with Element K to deliver E-Learning for Microsoft® Office and Windows™ Vista certification to its network of more than 12,000 centers in 135 countries worldwide. Officially named E-Learning for Microsoft Business Certification, the E-Learning catalogue already familiar to Certiport customers provides self-paced, interactive learning for Microsoft Office certification.

Available anytime, anywhere at the click of a mouse, E-learning's best-in-class application- and operating system-specific courses help develop Microsoft Office skills through activities, exercises, games, and hands-on virtual labs. Each course generally has between five and eight lessons that require approximately one hour to complete. Users can leverage the system to receive learning for all of the certifications within the Microsoft Office 2007 suite in roughly 30 to 48 hours.

E-Learning for Microsoft Business Certification is available in as many as 15 different languages through Certiport and its solution providers worldwide. Courses for certifications in Microsoft Office 2007, 2003, XP and 2000 are available, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint®, Outlook®, Access® and Windows Vista.
