Downloading and Installing Exam Software
Use the guide below to locate the exam(s) you will be delivering and install the appropriate exam delivery method(s) on all computers that will be used for testing.
Reminder: Verify that your center meets all Technical Requirements before installing.
Console 8 is the only delivery system for the administration of the 2013 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exams, and any subsequent versions yet to be released. It uses live-in-the-application technology to deliver a performance-based experience. During an exam, Console 8 launches the corresponding Microsoft Office application, and then the Test Candidate will demonstrate their skills within the actual application during the exam. Each computer that will be used for testing must have Console 8 and the full version of the corresponding Microsoft Office Suite installed.
Note: Console 8 supports the delivery of the MOS 2013, MOS 2010, MTA, MCE, ACP, ACA, as well as the IC3 exams (availability of individual program versions/suites may vary).
How to download & install Console 8 on each testing computer:
Log in to www.certiport.com and select the Organization Administrator role from the dropdown menu. Mouse over the Training and Tools tab and click Console 8 Install. Follow the instructions found on the page to download and install the software.

The Certiport Online Exam delivery system for Windows is used to deliver exams consisting of basic exam questions and/or performance-demonstrated tasks within a simulation of an application. Because the applications are simulated within this delivery engine, there is no need to have any actual software installed to run an exam. For example, you do not need to have Adobe Photoshop installed on testing computers to deliver an Adobe Photoshop exam.

How to set up Certiport Online Exam Delivery on each test computer:
Log in to www.certiport.com and select the Organization Administrator role from the dropdown menu. Mouse over the Training and Tools tab and click Online Exam Setup - Windows. Follow all steps to setup the machine for testing and run the Certiport Online Exams Diagnostics Check.

The Certiport Mac Launcher is used for the online delivery of our Mac-compatible ACA and IC3 exams. The questions are simulations and run inside a browser similar to the way the Online Exams for Windows delivery system works.
Note: The Certiport Mac Launcher allows you to administer certain exams from the program suites listed above in a native Mac environment, however the interface of the actual exams and practice tests will continue to be Windows based.
