Certiport Reveals Winning Teams in IC³ World Cup Competition

Two teams from around the globe get top honors and $20,000 in prizes

SALT LAKE CITY — June 18, 2008

Ray Kelly, CEOCertiport today announced the top achievers of this year’s IC³ World Cup hail from Costa Rica and Germany. From a total of 148 participating teams, the winners of this year’s competition are repeat winner “Colegio Universitario Boston” from Costa Rica in the PATHWAYS Competition (with Certiport Internet & Computing Benchmark®) and “Bits & Grips” from Germany in the Exam Competition (without Benchmark).

The winning teams each won a $5,000 gift certificate toward computer hardware, 100 IC³ World Cup team jerseys, and an all-expense-paid trip for the team coach to Certiport PATHWAYS HAWAII international conference. In its second year as an international competition, IC³ World Cup is a team-oriented competition aimed at developing and validating the current and relevant skills needed for success in the 21st Century.
