Certiport Announces Acquisition of MeasureUp, Assessment and Certification Practice Test Company

Enhanced organization to lead in test preparation, delivery and program management for industry's most successful certification programs

ATLANTA, GA – May 25, 2010

Ray Kelly, CEOCertiport the leading provider of test delivery services for the global workforce and academic markets, today announced they have acquired MeasureUp LLC, the global leader in IT practice tests and assessment services.

This acquisition will allow Certiport to offer a full range of solutions to support the entire certification lifecycle including study materials, practice exams, and certifications. Certiport will continue to serve the academic market through its network of more than 10,000 testing centers in 142 countries worldwide, while strengthening their presence in commercial and corporate sectors.

"MeasureUp has a strong business base, solid financial performance, leading brand recognition in the global IT practice test and assessment market and an intense focus on customer service," said Ray Kelly, chief executive officer, Certiport. "We are in full agreement of MeasureUp's business strategy and look forward to the growth opportunities, which will result from this strong partnership."

MeasureUp practice tests stand out for their innovative use of simulation questions, comprehensive explanations, complete coverage of exam objectives, multiple delivery modes, and in-depth reporting. MeasureUp has been a long-term, preferred practice test provider for Microsoft certifications.

"This transaction validates our strong performance over the last few years, our ability to consistently execute on our business strategy and the value that comes with having a knowledgeable and skilled employee base," said Kevin Brice, president and general manager, MeasureUp. "We would like to assure our clients that the ongoing management and servicing of their accounts will remain a top priority. We do not expect any disruption of normal business practices."

With the acquisition of MeasureUp, Certiport will begin offering practice tests and assessments for their current suite of products and for select exams they do not offer. Current MeasureUp clients will receive the same uninterrupted service, with new access to Certiport's suite of products. The terms and conditions of all Certiport client and vendor contracts will remain in place and unchanged.

"Certiport aims to deliver cost-effective solutions to validate skills for citizens, students and workers worldwide," Kelly added. "Acquiring MeasureUp creates a huge opportunity and a stronger platform from which we can continue to diversify our revenue base, expand globally and grow profitably through focused investments."
