Certiport Appoints New Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales/Chief Revenue Officer
Leading certification provider maintains a consistent focus on industry expertise and long term growth
SALT LAKE CITY – January 21, 2010
Certiport, the world's leading provider of computer literacy skills training and credentialing programs for the competitive global workforce and academic markets in over 136 countries, today announced the appointment of Alan Raymond to the position of senior vice president of global channel sales and chief revenue officer. Certiport also named Neill Hopkins as vice president of global operations.
Raymond brings more than 20 years of sales leadership experience to Certiport. In his new role, Raymond assumes the responsibility of driving global company sales, guiding channel sales activities, and providing direction into new application areas that will advance Certiport's channel distribution network worldwide.
This strategy will continue to drive faster and more cost effective company solutions that aim to validate the skills essential for every citizen, student and worker in the world.
Prior to Certiport, Raymond held several key sales management positions, most recently as vice president of sales for the SCO Group, a leading provider of Unix solutions with more than 3,000 partners worldwide.

Hopkins, with an extensive knowledge of the IT testing and certification industry, will work with Certiport's sales and marketing teams to oversee the development of the company's channel relationships both domestically and internationally. Most recently, Hopkins has been responsible for the development, management and growth of Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) certification programs, the voice of the world's information technology (IT) industry.
