Credit Recommendation for Microsoft Office Specialist Certification
"We believe that every student should have access to Microsoft Office Specialist certification because it aligns to industry standards and proves that their skills are certifiable in today's industry. Because of that, we have partnered with Certiport, Inc. to offer certification to students at 50 high schools statewide and have encouraged articulation agreements for area colleges to grant credit to our students who pass the exams. The program has been a huge success, and we are very pleased about the ACE recommendation, which will enable other school districts to offer college credit to high school students."

"High school students being able to receive college credit for passing the Microsoft Office Specialist exam will be a huge boost to our program. The ACE credit recommendation adds value to our high school programs that all teach Microsoft Office application skills because it offers students one more means of earning college credit early."

"High school students preparing for college have always sought creative ways of reducing the time and expense involved in obtaining a college degree. ACE's credit recommendation adds considerable value to existing high school programs that teach Microsoft application skills. At Ivy Tech, for example, a high school student who has earned certification can apply for admission and then can be awarded college credit for that certification."
